While many would see that Canada as a relatively new nation, much of what makes up its legal system, as well as its liberties spawn from a much earlier time. Its colonizers of the United Kingdom as well as France would set large part in how we think. In the United Kingdom especially, events that would unfold nearly 400 years ago in the Wars of the Three Kingdoms would lead to the creation of a more modern parliament. While time would see changes to the constitution as well as certain rights becoming more progressive, the mentality stays the same. As such, what this website seeks to accomplish is to both educate on key reforms in the wars that helped mould our own society, as well as point out rather similar details that occur even today. While a the subject of interpretation can change, the topic alone gives an interesting discussion.
